Jack Tomlinson is a former Victory Pro Wrestling champion. He captured the title after defeating Johnny Collins in 2022. But in the summer of 2022, Mike Anthony stole the championship belt. The mind games started setting in and in November, Mike Anthony captured the top prize in Victory Pro Wrestling.
Tomlinson made a challenge to the new champ, saying he would do whatever it takes to regain the VPW Championship. At VPW Notorious, they competed in a best two-of-three falls match. Jack picked up the first win, Mike Anthony picked up the second win, and VPW Commissioner Kevin Fulton changed the rules for the third and final fall for an anything goes winner take all… and added Eric James to the match.
James would pick up the win and reclaim the VPW Championship for a third time as Jack Tomlinson watched his chance to regain the title slip from his fingers.
This started a downward spiral for Tomlinson, to the point where he believes he is being shadow banned by VPW Management. Despite being in the main event 7 of the last 10 events and holding the VPW Championship, Tomlinson feels like he is being held back.
At VPW Blood Sweat and 17 Years, the new-talent initiative continued with Jordie Sparkles, the second Australian-born performer to join the company, making his debut.
