Eric James is one of the most decorated champions in VPW history. Kaide Lothbrok is recognized as a deathmatch champion, and one of the more dominant toughest wrestlers in the business today.
At VPW Battle in Bay Shore, they collided in a championship contest where Eric James retained the victory pro wrestling championship. The match could have gone either way, but the champion Eric James successfully defended his spot on top of the VPW mountain.
After the contest, Kaide Lothbrok showed his true colors, turning his back on his opponent after he was attacked by Jack Tomlinson.
Eric James would eventually lose the victory pro wrestling championship two Jack Tomlinson at the Gold Rush Rumble. One month later at vpw sanctified, he would have an opportunity to earn his right to face Jack Tomlinson One More Time After winning a triple threat top contenders contest.
Also in that contest would be Kaide Lothbrok and Bryce Donovan. Donovan would end up picking up the win, earning a future opportunity against the new VPW champion, but the animosity between two of Long Island’s top dogs escalated in September.
VPW Management decided to give these two an opportunity to unleash all kinds of chaos against each other in a one-on-one contest at VPW Hallowed Ground on Saturday October 14th.
There’s no Championship on the line. No opportunity at a future title. Just two of the best and toughest talents in Victory Pro Wrestling going at it for bragging rights.
