Jack Tomlinson certainly has it all.
From his dashing good looks to his wholesome image, the current Victory Pro Wrestling Champion has been building a brand for himself.
From a successful YouTube channel to captivating fans on all forms of social media, including TikTok, Jack’s image of being the “Vestler” is more than just a character. It’s a way of life.
The one thing that has alluded him is success at the highest level.
He struggled in 2021 to overcome the darkness brought upon him by Kaide Lothbrok. Lothbrok tried to bring Jack Tomlinson under his wing to incite a reign of chaos unlike any other.
In 2022, he struggled under the wrath of Pretty Likeable, as Johnny Collins continued to taunt him with what was his Victory Pro Wrestling championship, using his best friends The Even Stevens as a shield.
Eventually, what eluded Jack Tomlinson did so no more as he finally became Victory Pro Wrestling champion.
A fairy tale story, one filled with adversity and despair, to end on the highest of high notes.
Unfortunately, that’s not how this story continues.
After becoming champion, Jack Tomlinson suffered an injury at VPW’s Homecoming Vol. 2, when Mike Anthony attacked him and injured his knee. Doctors refused to clear him, so Tomlinson was unable to compete.
When Victory Pro Wrestling crossed state lines for VPW’s Riverfront Rumble, Jack Tomlinson was cleared and did perform, but he made a deal with the dark Mike Anthony, one that would give Anthony a chance at the Victory Pro Wrestling championship at a later date.
Mike Anthony decided not to wait and reached out to VPW Management to declare at VPW’s Showdown in St James, he wanted in the Victory Pro Wrestling championship match that he ruined in the first place – Champion Jack Tomlinson vs Dan Barry – and made it a triple threat.
Jack Tomlinson would win that match but after the fight, Mike Anthony attacked the champion from behind, then grabbed a chair from under the ring and assaulted Jack Tomlinson before grabbing the VPW Championship and declaring himself the real champion.
Two weeks later at VPW’s Rage in Ronkonkoma, Jack Tomlinson would confront Mike Anthony again, this time saying he’d do anything it takes to get back his title. After a grueling gauntlet match, Jack Tomlinson was able to reclaim the championship and celebrate with the fans.
However, after the show ended, Mike Anthony would return and steal the title belt, taking it into his possession before running off.
The summer of ’22 has not faired well for Jack Tomlinson, despite being the reigning Victory Pro Wrestling champion.
