The tag team division in Victory Pro Wrestling has been shook since Bobby Orlando and Bryce Donovan became the VPW Tag Team Champions. At Disorderly Conduct, things shook up even more.
VPW held at Tag Team Turmoil match featuring four teams to determine who would challenge Shook Crew for the championships: Coofee and Wine (featuring King Cardigan and Filipinot Grigio), Cain Enterprises (featuring KJ Mack and Percy Ryan), the Even Stevens (Steve Somerset and Steven Azure), and Security Inc (Officer Ronnie Moses and Guard Dog Malcom Murray).
Tag Team Turmoil would be held under gauntlet rules: Two teams start, and upon pinfall or submission, a new team would join until only one team remained.
Cain Enterprises started the match, waiting for their opponents, Coffee and Wine. Cardigan is the current King of New York and a former VPW Tag Team Champion, while Grigio is a two-time King of New York, former VPW New York State Champion, and former VPW Champion. Despite their antics, the experience factor weighed heavily on them to win this match.
As they came from the entranceway, Francis Kip Stevens attacked Grigio with a chair, brutalizing him and keeping him from competing in the match. This left Cardigan with a tough call to make – stay with his friend, or compete in the match alone. Cardigan went to the ring in a two-on-one handicap match.
While Cardigan did put on a good fight, it would be Percy Ryan and KJ Mack to secure the first fall. Cardigan joined Grigio outside the ring with officials and medical to help his partner to the back as the next team came out – The Even Stevens.
Somerset and Azure are former VPW Tag Team Champions, recently losing the titles to Shook Crew. This would be an opportunity for them to climb back into the title picture after losing their rematch at the Gold Rush Rumble.
The young Cain Enterprises team showed a lot of heart and was able to take control of the former champions, but even with the guidance of Silk E Smooth at ringside, the experience and cohesiveness of the Stevens helped them prevail as they advanced to meet the final team, Security Inc.
Ronnie Moses and Malcom Murray have met the Even Stevens before, when the Stevens were tag team champions. Somerset and Azure picked up the win in that encounter, and they looked to repeat with another win in the Tag Team Turmoil.
This time around, they did not have handcuffs to restrain Murray, so with Security Inc at full force, they were able to pick up the win and secure the opportunity to challenge Shook Crew for the VPW Tag Team championships.
As sweet it was to pick up the win, Security Inc did not get the chance to savor the victory as the Rat B@stards jumped the guardrail and attacked the Tag Tea Turmoil victors.
Adam Kirkland and Zander Torres first made their presence felt at the Rage in Ronkonkoma. This time, their radars were set on the backs of Security Inc.
