At Monster Mash 2, Coach Mammone announced that he was tired of The Influence getting involved and helping VPW Champion Mister Tibbs. At Disorderly Conduct, he wanted a fair shot at Victory Pro Wrestling’s top prize inside a steel cage.
Meanwhile, Bryce Donovan beat Johnny “Pretty Boy” Collins in a Beat the Clock Challenge, giving him the chance to announce a special stipulation for his match against Collins at Disorderly Conduct.
Unlike Mammone, Donovan decided to hold off on his announcement until tonight. Earlier today, Donovan announced to VPW Management that he would also fight inside the cage.
“Every time I am in the ring with him, he runs away,” Donovan stated. “That changes November 23.”
While the cage has made its presence felt, ending feuds and settling scores many times over, it will be the first time in Victory Pro Wrestling history where two matches will be fought inside the confines of a 15-foot high steel cage on the same night.
The new tag team of Johnny Collins and Bryce Donovan, stormed VPW early 2018, and along with the likes of Coach Mammone, a new era of VPW was beginning.
Collins and Donovan rose through the ranks of the VPW Tag Team Division, sparking interest from the fans. In July of 2018, they would capture the VPW Tag Team Championships from #TeamAdams at VPW:125 and Counting.
Three months later, the champions would defend the titles against Mammone and Razzle Dazzle. By the end of the night, it would be Collins and Donovan that would reign supreme.
Uncertainty put the team of Fighter Cat and Grammar Cop together, and this team was the team that ended the Cinderella reign of Collins and Donovan. It also sent waves between the two former champions that would tear them apart forever in 2019, as Collins turned his back on Donovan.
Collins joined forces with The Even Stevens. Together they aligned to hold off the challenge of the Cat and Cop Connection and their new partner, Bryce Donovan. As time progressed, Donovan would chase Collins, and the Vest Tag Team in the World would provide distractions allowing Collins to avoid his former partner.
Now, as we are less than two weeks away from VPW’s Disorderly Conduct, it will be a double steel cage main event. With Coach Mammone looking to keep the Influence out, and with Bryce Donovan looking to keep Johnny Collins in. Donovan is looking to right the wrongs of his former partner.
