JJ Doze is lost and confused. His whole world revolves around something missing. JJ’s path in professional wrestling is what grounds him, what gives him guidance.
JJ’s positive energy comes from the fans, those that have supported his journey and given him the hope to keep pushing through.
Even with the Gold Rush Rumble, watching Alvin suffer a brutal injury and try to somehow continue, JJ Doze was guided by the fans who slowly realized that Alvin was no longer able to compete.
JJ Doze was left standing tall in the ring as the final competitor… only to have Jack Tomlinson return to the ring and eliminate JJ. Jack was never “technically” eliminated from the contest, but the fans were still in support of JJ Doze.
At VPW’s Haunted Ground in October, JJ Doze will look to the fans to once again find the light. This time, he will be seeking the light against one of the darker competitors in Victory Pro Wrestling… Evil Kip.
Evil Kip used to be fun and lovable. He used to shake hands and take pictures with the fans, but somewhere along the way things changed.
The former “One Tough Nerd,” Evil Kip has been on a different path. And it seems to be working for him.
As the Dropkick Depression Heavyweight champion, holding it as of this writing for 522 days and counting, Evil Kip is content with sharing misery and darkness to all that faces him. But this isn’t Dropkick Depression.
When Victory Pro Wrestling returns to Bay Shore, JJ Doze will have a tough challenge ahead of him. Can he overcome the darkness or will Evil Kip shut down the light for good?
