Tired of being attacked by ConfluxXx, both Victory Pro Wrestling Champion Kai Katana and Kevin Tibbs’ Church of Tibbs team up to take on ConfluxXx in a Steel Cage Survival match this Saturday night in Centereach.
The rules are simple: Two teams start by sending in one member each in the cage to start. A coin is tossed and after two minutes, one team will send in a member. Two minutes later, and the other team sends in a member. This continues until all six members are in the cage. If you submit or are pinned, then you are eliminated from the contest. The first team to eliminate all members of the other team will be declared the winners.
The match is so brutal it has only happened one other time in VPW history, back in 2011.
Back then, ConfluxXx looked a little different. Ricky Reyes and Jay Delta teamed up with Xander Page and EJ Risk to face VsK, The Funky Fresh Boyz, and Richie Tyler.
Since then, things have changed. The Funky Fresh Boyz broke up. Xander Page disappeared. The Asian assassin Kai Katana took VPW by storm. Kevin Fulton joined Reyes and Delta in ConfluxXx.
One thing hasn’t changed so far, and that is Ricky Reyes and the curse of the cage. In the three appearances inside the cage, Reyes has been on the losing side. Could this be different? All three members of ConfluxXx are cage veterans. They understand the pain that comes with bones crashing against steel.
Dorian Graves is the question mark. He is the only competitor in this contest without cage experience. He has never been inside the monster, the steel walls, and competed.
The steel cage alone can create injuries, and seriously shorten one’s career. Steel Cage Survival takes it one step further.
