Officials tend to VPW Champion Kai Katana after the Steel Cage Survival main event match that ended the high note of his team’s victory.
Carnage in Centereach started with all three members of ConfluxXx coming to the ring, talking about how later on in the evening, they guaranteed they would be victorious, and once the cage match was done, they would be challenging for all the gold in Victory Pro Wrestling.
Not so fast, though, as VPW Commissioner EJ Risk came to the ring to settle things down and bring them back to reality. His first action: Eject ConfluxXx from the ring so the show could begin.
Next, he talked about the New York State Championship, and restated the rule that if VsK does not leave Centereach as VPW New York State Champion, then he walks out of VPW forever!
VPW WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP
NIKKI ADDAMS (c) (w/ Mikey Old School) vs KAREN YU
The new VPW Women’s Champion would defend the title against the woman she eliminated in the fatal fourway to become champion. This time around, Karen provided more of a fight than she has in the past, with the new VPW Women’s title going to the victor.
Just as things started souring for Nikki, Mikey Old School jumped on the apron. Karen, sick of his shenanigans, attacked him, knocking him off the apron onto the floor. This was enough to distract her from a charging Nikki Addams big boot.
WINNER: NIKKI ADDAMS (c)
As ring announcer John E Radioo was making announcements about the evening’s charity event, Destructico came to the ring and interrupted him, taking the microphone and talking in Spanish to the Centereach crowd. Razzle Dazzle came out shortly afterwards and interpreted, saying that Destructico and Razzle Dazzle had some unfinished business with one Xander Page, challenging him to a two on one handicap match
The big man came to the ring and he came ready for a fight!
HANDICAP MATCH
XANDER PAGE vs DESTRUCTICO / RAZZLE DAZZLE (w/ Mikey Old School)
The former Best Friends Ever team worked together to try and dominate Page. While Page did mount an offense, the tag team expertise caught up to him and they were able to wear him down.
What they may have forgotten is that Page is a three time VPW Tag Team Champion, and the big man came back strong to finally decimate the duo.

After this match, the masked Jake Hendrix came to the ring to talk trash and insult the Centereach crowd. In the middle of his diatribe, VPW newcomer The Grammar Cop came to the ring with a large associate. The Grammar Cop insulted Hendrix and corrected his grammar for a few minutes, before Grop the Caveman came to the ring area, chasing Hendrix around and ripping his mask off revealing him to be none other than Jacob Hendrix!
The Grammar Cop then redirected attention to himself and his new associate, Timbershay. His large partner flexed his muscles and introduced himself to have incredible skill and… proceeded to sing to the crowd?
Fighter Cat’s music played and he came to the ring to interrupt this craziness and start the next contest.
SINGLES MATCH
THE GRAMMAR COP (w/ Timbershay) vs FIGHTER CAT
While The Grammar Cop did mount some offense, Fighter Cat kept coming back. It was a distraction from Timbershay that took Cat’s eye off the prize, giving The Grammar Cop his first win in VPW.
WINNER: GRAMMAR COP
Before the next contest began, the ring announcer again explained the rules. If VsK were to lose the match he would be fired from VPW.
NEW YORK STATE CHAMPIONSHIP
CHAMPIONSHIP VERSUS CAREER
VsK AGAINST FIREBIRD JORGE SANTI (c)
Once both competitors were in the ring, the match begun. The match almost ended as quickly as it started with a VsK super kick that lead to only a two. The contest was a back and forth contest, with a frustrated challenger upset more and more as time progressed. At one point VsK connected with a super kick that sent Santi to the ropes, charged up and ready for more, but met another super kick from the challenger, also leading to a two count.
Frustrated at being unable to defeat Santi, VsK grabbed a steel chair and threw it in the ring. As the official Steven D was throwing the chair back outside the ring, VsK shoved his opponent into the referee, knocking him out. VsK then grabbed the New York State championship, and just as he was about to charge, EJ Risk slid in the ring and grabbed the belt. Risk and VsK were face to face, screaming and yelling until finally… EJ Risk charged Santi with a running knee!! This made Santi easy pickings for VsK who reclaimed the New York State Championship.

Intermission came and went, and once we were ready it was time for the main event. The ring announcer explained the rules for Steel Cage Survival:
- The first round would begin with a competitor from each team inside the ring. This round would last 5 minutes
- At the end of the first round, a coin toss will be held. The winning team of said coin toss would send one of their team inside the ring. The second round would last 2 minutes
- At the end of the second round, the alternating team would be allowed to send in one from their team. These two minute rounds would continue until all six competitors were inside the ring.
- Once all six competitors were eligible in the contest, Steel Cage Survival would begin. Escaping the cage would not grant you victory, as the only way to win would be by pinfall or submission. This was not an elimination match, this would be one fall to a finish!
STEEL CAGE SURVIVAL
CONFLUXXX – RICKY REYES, KEVIN FULTON, JAY DELTA
against
THE CHURCH OF TIBBS – DORIAN GRAVES, KEVIN TIBBS
and VPW CHAMPION KAI KATANA
The first round started with Delta representing ConfluxXx, and Kevin Tibbs starting for the Church/Katana team. It was an even contest for both teams, with neither one getting the edge.
At the end of the first round, the coin toss favored the Church/Katana team. They opted to send in Dorian Graves, who teamed with Tibbs to take a clear advantage over Delta.
Round three began and Ricky Reyes entered to even the odds, leaving Katana and Fulton outside the ring waiting their turn to enter.
Round four began with controversy, as Kai Katana attempted to enter the cage. Fulton attacked him, throwing him repeatedly into the side of the cage before taking his spot and entering the ring, giving ConfluxXx the edge.
The fifth round began, with all members from both teams eligible for pinfall and submission, as Steel Cage Survival began with Katana still outside, trying to gather his thoughts and eventually climb into the ring. The damage had already been done as ConfluxXx was dominating the Church of Tibbs, but Katana brought the fight to them.
Somehow, Kevin Fulton had brought a chain to the ring, likely using the chain to hold the door to the cage closed. He used this chain to take down the VPW Champion, knocking him in the face. Dorian Graves caught a surprised Fulton with a spin kick to the midsection. Reyes tried to take down the masked disciple, but Dorian Graves was ready for him, catching him with an awkward backslide for the victory!
WINNERS: THE CHURCH OF TIBBS AND KAI KATANA
While the victors enjoyed the win, ConfluxXx left the ring with a smile. It took a few moments, but Tibbs and Graves realized that their win came with a price: Kai Katana. The VPW Champion was laid out in the ring, and several officials came to tend to Katana.
After the show, the medical staff said that he was okay, but further testing would be needed before clearing him to wrestle in VPW again.
