Coach Mammone accomplished a lot in his short tenure with Victory Pro Wrestling.

Mammone has faced some tough challenges, from Mister Tibbs to Kaide Lothbrok, but the one thorn to his side has always been Johnny Collins.
Teaming up with Razzle Dazzle, Mammone took on Collins and then partner Bryce Donovan, failing to capture the VPW Tag Team Championships.
During the pandemic, Collins ran his mouth online, talking about how VPW needs a leader, and continued to ask where Mammone was. Collins called him an absent champion.
And after winning the 2021 Gold Rush Rumble, Collins once again became a problem to Mammone, taunting him online and finally taking the top spot away from Mammone.
“What really disappoints me is that he couldn’t do it alone,” said Mammone. “After everything he said, he needed his friends to back him up and do his dirty work for him.”
Mammone is alluding to the distraction by Stephen Azure, ringing the bell as Mammone had a Sharpshooter locked on Collins. This distraction drew the referee away from the ring where Steve Somerset took advantage, knocking Mammone out with a chain.
“That did not happen,” said Collins, the current and reigning VPW Champion. “The people know what really happened. That’s all that matters.”
VPW owner John E Radioo was at ringside when Mammone offered to put his career on the line for another chance to become champion. “I don’t think he understands the severity of his request, nor do I think he cares.
“Mammone wants to be the top star so badly he’ll risk his career,” Radioo added. “I pray for Collins.”
At December’s Devastation, it will be the final chapter for Coach Mammone if he cannot best Johnny Collins and reclaim the Victory Pro Wrestling championship.
