VsK tried to worm his way to being recognized as New York State Champion, but VPW Commissioner EJ Risk had other plans, pitting him against Scotty 2 Hotty.
NEW YORK STATE CHAMPIONSHIP
SOUTH SHORE OUTLAW KEVIN FULTON
vs FIREBIRD JORGE SANTI (c)
Victory Pro Wrestling’s 100th show, aptly titled “VPW 100,” started off with the New York State Championship on the line.
ConfluxXx’s new dog Kevin Fulton, a former New York State champion himself, had the chance to take back the title.
Manhattan’s son fought back, and was able to overcome the South Shore Outlaw’s onslaught and retain the championship.
WINNER: JORGE SANTI
After the match, VsK came down the aisle to confront Santi.
This brought out VPW Comissioner EJ Risk, who went into the ring and congratulated Santi on his big win.
VsK reminded Risk that he did, in fact, pin Santi at Blood Sweat and 9 years and should be the New York State Champion, but no.. Risk had to restart the match.
Risk then noted that VsK didn’t have a match, and VPW’s guest for the evening Scotty 2 Hotty didn’t have a match, so as VPW Commissioner, Risk booked a match for VsK and Scotty 2 Hotty later on in the evening!
TRIPLE THREAT ONE FALL TO A FINISH
MISTER A O
vs FIGHTER CAT
vs COOLEY K
Fighter Cat is starting to shine in Victory Pro Wrestling, but somehow Mister AO is finding ways to stay in the VPW spotlight. His wiley ability in the ring kept him alive, but it was Cooley K’s ring experience that helped secure the win.
WINNER: COOLEY K
After the match, Razzle Dazzle, along with Mikey Old School, came to the ring to share some thoughts. Razzle Dazzle expressed frustration, much like he did at the Blood Sweat and 9 Years show in March, that the fans cared all about him getting beat up, but not about the fact that he has been with VPW since the very beginning.
While he was expressing his disgust, Xander Page came from the main entrance and through the crowd, entered the ring, and crushed Dazzle with a crucifix powerbomb.
What happened next shocked everyone. ConfluxXx came to the ring. Jay Delta, Page’s former tag team partner, and Kevin Fulton came to ringside. Fulton tossed Page a ConfluxXx shirt and invited him back to ConfluxXx.
Page didn’t give an answer, but he didn’t accept either. Fulton and Delta went to the back, telling big Xander Page that he could take his time.
SPECIAL ATTRACTION
VSK
vs SCOTTY 2 HOTTY
Earlier in the evening, VsK said he would beat Scotty 2 Hotty, and that at the next show he would beat Santi and take back the title that is rightfully his.
That didn’t go exactly as planned. The former WWE tag team champion showed why he is one of wrestling’s top stars by putting on a clinic in the ring with the former VPW Champion.
VsK was able to get an upper hand several times, but Scotty 2 Hotty did not let him take advantage. Finally, Hotty was able to connect with his Worm and score the victory.
WINNER: SCOTTY 2 HOTTY
After intermission, ring announcer John E Radioo introduced one of the coaches for the Mudcats Youth Baseball team Mike Spinelli, who thanked the crowd for attending and supporting the children.
He was rudely interrupted by the VPW Tag Team Champions Tony and Steve, along with their manager Chrissy. They started to berate and belittle the fans, and Spinelli, before Kevin Tibbs and Dorian Graves came to the ring to even the odds.
It was then that referee Uncle Steven informed the ring announcer that this would be the next match.
VICTORY PRO WRESTLING TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS
THE DOWN BOYZ (TONY AND STEVE W/ CHRISSY) (c)
vs. THE CHURCH OF TIBBS (KEVIN TIBBS AND DORIAN GRAVES W/ JACOB HENDRIX)
The fire between these two was lit before the bell started, and once it did the action kept up. In a very intense battle, Tibbs’ experience shined, as he was outwitting the champions at every turn.
As the challengers were on the verge of winning, ConfluxXx came out and attacked Tibbs and Graves, resulting in a disqualification.
WINNERS: THE CHURCH OF TIBBS via DQ
As they headed to the back, Tibbs said aloud, “This is not over.”
Before the next match, the ring announcer invited the fans in attendance to join VPW in June when history would be made as a new title would be bestowed and we would crown the first ever Victory Pro Wrestling Women’s Champion!
WOMEN’S CONTEST
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
NIKKI ADDAMS (W/ MIKEY OLD SCHOOL)
vs. KAREN YU
vs. BRITTANY SAVAGE
Brittany Savage announced before the match began that the reason why she was in VPW was to show that she was better than everyone else, and that she would be the first ever Victory Pro Wrestling Women’s Champion.
Once the match started, it looked more like it was Nikki Addams that was the best in the ring, able to fend off the challenge of both women. Karen Yu put up an amazing fight but was knocked outside the ring. Savage stole the match with a roll up on Addams for the three.
WINNER: BRITTANY SAVAGE
The dark horse of the match was the unknown of Brittany Savage, which worked to her advantage, but only infuriated Nikki Addams, who believed her shoulder was up before the three count was called. In a vicious tirade, she screamed that in order for her to be a superstar they would have to be the women’s champion and that woman would be her next month in Centereach.
MIXED TAG TEAM MATCH
ROMEO ROSELLI AND DEONNA PURRAZZO
vs THE ILLUSIONIST DAMIAN ADAMS AND ASHLEY AMERICA
Former WWE Superstar Romeo Roselli would again team up with Deonna to face The Illusionist Damian Adams. This time, Adams’ partner was Ashley America.
The match went back and forth, and Romeo and Deonna cut the ring in half, dominating Ashley. However, once she made the tag, it was all Damian Adams. Outside the ring, Ashley and Deonna went at it, and inside the ring it was The Illusionist in control.
A failed sunset flip gave Romeo the opportunity to cover Adams for the win, but not without the help of Deonna from the outside. Referee Uncle Steven, unfortunately, did not see the dirty tactics and counted Adams out.
WINNERS: ROMEO ROSELLI AND DEONNA PURRAZZO
With that came Victory Pro Wrestling’s 100th main event… for the Victory Pro Wrestling championship!
First came the champion, accompanied to the ring by several of the Mudcats Youth Baseball team. As Kai Katana made his way to the ring, he was attacked from behind by ConfluxXx Jay Delta.
Confused, the referee chased the action around the ring, trying to restore order. Finally, with the chair on the outside and the action inside the ring, the match began.
THE MAIN EVENT
VICTORY PRO WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP
JAY DELTA
vs KAI KATANA (c)
Jay Delta, who had just mugged and worn down the champion, was in clear control early on. Katana was able to strike back but unable to overcome Delta’s experience in the ring at first. Time was in his favor, and as the contest continued, Katana’s determination and fire increased.
The champion took control and Delta was in a position of no return when the official was accidentally knocked down. ConfluxXx member Kevin Fulton came to the ring and served up a world of hurt to the VPW Champion. He helped the official see that Delta was covering Katana, and a slow count of two was registered.
Enter: The Church of Tibbs. With his music blaring, Kevin Tibbs and Dorian Graves came out to face ConfluxXx head on. First Fulton was taken out, then it was easy pickings for Kai Katana as he picked up the win after a super high moonsault.
WINNER: KAI KATANA
After the match, Tibbs presented the Victory Pro Wrestling Championship to Kai Katana with the crowd cheering for both Tibbs and Katana.
