Jack Tomlinson got hurt in 2019, and when he was recovering the whole world stopped. Unable to perform or train, The Vestler focused on his JackPack – the loyal fans of Jack Tomlinson’s vlogs – and his return to action.
In 2021 Jack started a campaign online about wanting to go straight to the top and bring VPW gold to the JackPack. Jack challenged then champion Coach Mammone, Johnny “Pretty Boy” Collins, and made it his mission to rise to the top.
Kaide Lothbrok got in his way. The former King of New York was leading a campaign of his own, one that involved bringing in Tomlinson into the fold, to join the Wolves of Odin as wolves lead and the rest are mindless sheep lead to slaughter.
As Tomlinson focused on the mind games from Lothbrok, Collins won the Gold Rush Rumble, then with a laser focused game plan stole the Victory Pro Wrestling championship from Mammone, and then a month later at December Devastation, stole Mammone’s career.
Kaide would not go away, as Tomlinson continued to deal with his nonsense some more. In a final confrontation, it was Tomlinson teaming with VSK to finally put Lothbrok and Dante Drago in the rear view mirror.
Meanwhile, the new champion was in the drop zone of Mister Tibbs, who never got his rematch due to the pandemic. Collins would find a way to keep the championship, holding off the challenge of the Savior of Wrestling.
As we set the stage to VPW Power Grab, Tomlinson was given the opportunity to finally claim what he’s been after all along. Collins has been cutting corners with the help of the Even Stevens, and is expected to continue to use Steve Somerset and Stephen Azure to maintain control of Victory Pro Wrestling’s top prize.
