Since becoming VPW Women’s Champion, the Unwilting Tatiana has had a surprisingly uphill battle with the fans.
In what was supposed to be a triple threat for the championship, Tatiana overcame Valentina Vasquez, ending a 666 day championship reign in October 2023. It turned out that Valentina Vasquez attacked the third person in that contest before the match – the Unforgiven Salem.
Salem would have her come-uppance. With a referee’s distraction, Salem would come out and attack Vasquez, roll the weakened champion in the ring, and watch as Tatiana covered her to win the match.
At VPW Before the Storm, Tatiana faced the young and powerful Gabby Forza, coming close to losing that contest, but with a backslide Tatiana’s experience helped her pick up the win.
One month later, though, her demons have come back to haunt her. In a one on one contest, she met Salem, honoring a promise to give her the fair shot she did not have. But it did not turn out to be the fair shot she promised as Valentina Vasquez surprised the fans, and Salem, when she returned to VPW.
The “Forever champion” attacked Salem in pay back for her assault in October, shoving Salem back into the ring, and Tatiana once again covering her opponent to win.
Salem stood over the champion, disgusted, promising her that Tatiana’s debt is unfulfilled. The champion unraveled, screaming that she “did not want it” to end that way.
At VPW Blood Sweat and 18 Years, the Unwilting Tatiana is stepping in the ring with the Conduit of Karma Kaia McKenna. Kaia makes her VPW debut with one thing in mind, collecting gold.
