Victory Pro Wrestling celebrated their 18th year with a steel cage, new champions, and the return of an old friend.
The show opened with Bryce Donovan coming down to the ring to cut a promo. Donovan spoke about how even though Jack Tomlinson stole his Victory Pro Wrestling Championship, he’s still the VPW Champion. He then tells Tomlinson that he can hold onto Donovan’s title because Tomlinson can’t bear the weight of being a real champion. He then goes on to say that tonight is Tomlinson’s final chance to become Victory Pro Wrestling Champion.
VPW NEW YORK STATE CHAMPIONSHIP
Dante Drago (Champion) defeats the King of New York Dezmond Cole
Dezmond Cole makes his way down to the ring first, and he is the clear-cut fan favorite in this match. Cole earned this opportunity by becoming the King of New York earlier this year. Dante Drago made his way down to the ring next, accompanied by Jack Tomlinson. However, Drago sends Tomlinson to the back and goes at it on his own.
The match kicks off with a feeling out process between the two men. However, a big shoulder block by Cole sends Drago out to ringside to regroup. When Drago re-enters the ring, Cole calls for a test of strength, Drago agrees but tries to take a cheap shot, but Cole catches him. Cole lands some big chops on Drago and continues to have some fun. Cole beats Drago up at ringside, but Drago is finally able to change the tides of this match when he drops Cole on the apron onto his back, while Cole was playing up to the crowd.
After controlling the match for quite some time, Drago finally loses some of his steam when Cole fights back. Cole lands a huge corner kick on Drago, which sends Drago to the outside. Cole takes out Drago with a huge high-risk move, and then attempts his finisher inside the ring. Drago, however, is able to counter and the two men continue to go at it.
Ultimately, Drago looks to use the Victory Pro Wrestling New York State Championship belt as a weapon, but Cole convinces him not too, which Drago actually listens to. Cole lands his finisher on Drago, but out of nowhere Jake Lang comes out and makes the save. At the end, Drago uses the belt and pins Cole to retain his Victory Pro Wrestling New York State Championship. After the match, Cole acknowledges the fans before leaving.

He attacks CPA on the outside and lands a huge spinebuster on Vibe also at ringside.
Alvin chokes CPA using his own tie. After some more time passes, Vibe re-enters the fray and squares off with Alvin. Alvin makes easy work of Vibe as he takes him out with a Samoan Drop and a senton. However, Alvin doesn’t notice CPA who’s making his way to the top rope. CPA lands a huge missile dropkick on Alvin to take the big man down.
CPA looks for his patented 1099 (modified 619) on Vibe, which Alvin accidentally assists in. CPA then catches Alvin with one of his own. CPA follows this up with a big attitude adjustment type of move on the big man and pins Alvin to win the match.

JJ Doze’s music hits and we see someone make their way to the entranceway and it turns out to be Marvelous who unmasks when the lights come back on. As always, Marvelous is accompanied by the God of the Dad Bod. Doze makes his way down to the ring next, and he is the clear-cut fan favorite.
The match starts with Doze quickly taking the fight to Marvelous, with a big running dropkick and some big strikes. God of the Dad Bod gets involved and stops Doze from a high risk move, saving Marvelous. This leads to Marvelous gaining control of the match, and another distraction by him leads to Marvelous going on the attack.
Marvelous uses his new partner time, and time again. This makes it harder for Doze to fight back into the match. Marvelous mocks Doze with his mask and Doze has enough. Doze quickly fights back and uses his speed and agility to his advantage. He sends Marvelous to the outside and takes out God of the Dad Bod and Marvelous with a suicide dive.
