Victory Pro Wrestling’s final event of the year ended in pandemonium with Delta House and Bryce Donovan looking to collide again in February.
The show started with Victory Pro Wrestling Commissioner Kevin Fulton addressing the elephant in the room, the official decision as to who is the true Victory Pro Wrestling champion. The controversy that ended the match between Jack Tomlinson and Bryce Donovan at Insanity, two different referees with two different calls, and the only decision that matters – Kevin Fulton’s.
Jack Tomlinson came out with New York State champion Dante Drago to stake his claim to the championship belt. Jack demanded the title to be given to him, and Kevin Fulton told him, “If you really want it, take it.”
Kevin then noted all the things Jack has been doing since he debuted in 2019. Vlogging. Blogging. Vestler. Actor. Everything but wrestler. Kevin told him that if he really wanted to be a champion, he would focus on being a professional wrestler.
The Body Snatchers def. JJ Doze and El Magnifico
- The Body Snatchers (Marvelous and God of Dad Bod) made their first official appearance in VPW. Marvelous brought his 6’2″ beast to Bay Shore several months ago and have caused havoc against JJ Doze and El Magnifico.
- The action moved fast for our opening contest, with Dad Bod being a dominant force. Good teamwork between JJ and Magnifico kept them in the game but it was only a matter of time before they fell to the size and experience of the Body Snatchers.
- After the contest, Marvelous snatched JJ’s entrance headgear.
The Artist Jake Lang def. The Miasma Zakk Ramses, Oxx Adams, and Pro Gamer R1 in a Fatal Four Way
- An unholy alliance was formed early on with the Artist Jake Lang teaming with Zakk Ramses to dominate their opponents.
- R1 was a ball of fire in this match, exploding on all his opponents and looking to pick up a win in his final stop on his US tour.
- Standing at 7′ tall, the massive giant Oxx Baker used his power to get back into the action, and after the alliance of Lang and Ramses broke down, Baker and Ramses, who had earlier in the contest slugged at each other, they teamed up and formed an alliance of their own.
- The match came to an end with Jake Lang stealing the victory covering R1.
Pretty Wild def. The Working Class
- Pretty Wild (Will Straus and Tristian Kyle) started with a challenge to the Working Class (Diego el Trabajador and Sweeper) to leave their tools in the back.
- Pretty Wild dominated the match but the fire of the Working Class made it a difficult challenge.
- The wild barbaric Yoscifer El made a return to Victory Pro Wrestling, distracting Sweeper, allowing Will Straus to low blow him and steal the victory.
- After the match, Yoscifer El set his sights on carnage. First, he destroyed Will Straus before being attacked by Diego. Yoscifer made quick work of el Trabajador, and then chokeslammed Sweeper on top of Diego before leaving the arena.
Freya the Slaya def. La Chica Clara Carreras
- At 6’1″, Freya the Slaya had a clear size advantage over the 5′ Clara Carreras, but size was not the only factor in this match
- The speed and fire of La Chica kept her in the game against the Queen of the North, but eventually the power of Freya ended her fight.
Phil Cardigan def. Evil Kip Stevens in a Falls Count Anywhere Coffee Bar Fight
- Evil Kip entered the ring with a “Phuck Phil” shirt, and Cardigan came ready for a fight.
- The two battled in and out of the ring, using breakfast pans, coffee, donuts, and flour as weapons.
- The ring was a pure mess as the action and coffee items flew all over the arena, with referee Gina Monti doing her best to keep track of the action
- The end came when Phil Cardigan connected with a cutter, sending Evil Kip through the coffee table for the victory.
New York State Champion Dante Drago def. Stephen Azure
- Stephen Azure, known for his tag team expertise, showed incredible singles prowess in this match.
- Dante Drago tried to control the pace throughout the match but Azure kept fighting back.
- Both Azure and Drago showed off impressive submission techniques to wear each other down.
- Drago tried to use the paddle to pick up the win, but Azure was able to outsmart him. However, Drago then used the New York State championship as a weapon to steal the victory.
VPW Tag Team Champions The Rat Bastards def. Cain Industries (Anthony Gangone and Silk E Smooth) by disqualification
- Anthony Gangone accused the Rat Bastards (Adam Kirkland and Zander Torres) of attacking Adam Cain before the match started, saying the Bastards feared them. Gangone said he could beat them both by himself, and then told Silk E Smooth to stand in the corner so they could make this an official tag match.
- Once the match started, it was Gangone in a house of fire, taking both champions on. On the outside, Gangone yelled at Silk to do something, and the manager of Cain Industries then dropped a double axe handle from the apron.
- The champions would take over control, with Adam Kirkland and Zander Torres taking turns on Gangone, who kept reaching for a tag to Silk.
- Malcom Murray came to the ring and attacked Gangone, causing the disqualification, before trying to set his sights on Zander Torres.
- After the match was official, Murray and Gangone faced off before fighting to the back.
Victory Pro Wrestling Champion Bryce Donovan and Jack Tomlinson ended as a no contest
- VPW Commissioner Kevin Fulton came out to announce that Dante Drago would be barred from ringside for this contest. This set off Delta House as Dante and Jack protested before the champion entered the arena.
- As VPW Champion Bryce Donovan entered the arena, Jack Tomlinson launched an attack. The two battled all throughout Pro Game Athletics, using weapons and attacking each other before referee Steven Dumeng was finally able to bring the action to the ring and start the contest.
- The two battled inside the ring, showing pure animosity in the main event, with Jack’s speed and agility an almost even match to the dominating power of Bryce.
- Delta House’s Nick Robles came out to cause a distraction, leading to Donovan accidentally clotheslining referee Dumeng. Dante Drago then came to the ring and Delta House triple teamed Donovan
- Referee Gina Monti came to ringside to call for the bell before trying to control the action. Her good deeds came with a price as she ate a super kick from Jack Tomlinson.
- Stephen Azure came to the ring to make the save with a chair to send Delta House to the outside. Chaos continued as Delta House started throwing chairs in the ring as protest before Donovan grabbed a microphone and issued a challenge, saying that since it seems like Delta House wants to keep interfering. At VPW’s King of New York, he called out Jack Tomlinson, Dante Drago, and Nick Robles to a six man tag team no holds barred match. Jack taunted him, saying he only had him and Azure, to which the champion announced that his tag team partner would be making his return… Bobby Orlando!
