History was made at Victory Pro Wrestling’s Kings of New York as Security Inc became the inaugural tag team tournament winners. They secured an impressive first-round victory over the Body Snatchers in just 6:30, setting the pace for the night. In the finals, they faced the Even Stevens, who barely advanced with a thrilling 8:42 victory over The Working Class—knocking out The Audacity by mere seconds.
However, the finals took a dark turn. With Malcolm Murray—usually known for his rule-abiding nature—distracting the referee, Ronnie Moses took full advantage, delivering a low blow that set up the final pinfall. Security Inc may have claimed the throne, but the controversy surrounding their victory won’t be forgotten anytime soon.
Salem Overcomes Verman—But Loses Her Championship… Physically
In one of her toughest challenges yet, The Unforgiven Salem successfully defended the VPW Women’s Championship against Valerie Verman, despite interference from Samwell Thompson. But the battle wasn’t over. After the match, Thompson taunted Salem with her own title, providing the distraction for Verman to strike from behind. The attack left Salem laid out, and Verman escaped with the championship in hand. Now, the question remains—can Salem reclaim what is rightfully hers?
Leo Sparrow Retains, But Bryce Donovan Makes a Statement
In a back-and-forth battle for the VPW Championship, Leo Sparrow retained against King of Queens Eric James, thanks in part to outside interference from “Vedge-head” David Graham. The referee ejected Graham mid-match, seemingly leveling the playing field—but when the official was knocked out, Graham returned, using the championship belt to tip the scales in Sparrow’s favor.
But just when the celebration began, Bryce Donovan stormed the ring, laid out both men with a double chokeslam, and delivered five words that shook VPW to its core—”I’ll see you in March.”
