When Kyla Knight arrived on U.S. soil, she didn’t just come to wrestle—she came to make history. Her first stop was at Victory Pro Wrestling’s Haunted Ground, where she set out to make a name for herself. Though she fell short of capturing a title, the “Outlier” immediately shifted her sights to a new target: former AEW star Leva Bates, challenging her to a showdown at VPW’s Blue November.
“Don’t underestimate me,” Knight said, directing her message to Bates, also known as “The Librarian.” “I’ll prove to you that I am the best.”
Bates, however, feels a connection with Knight’s outsider status. “I’ve always been kind of on the fringe,” she said, referring to herself as an outlier, too.
“Without that drive,” Bates added, “no one makes it in this business.” While acknowledging Knight’s adventurous path, Bates posed a question: “Are you ready to take on the final boss?”
