At the 7 Year Anniversary Show, Kai Katana became the Number 1 contender to the New York State Championship, currently held by K-Fresh Kevin Fulton.
However, these two will not be meeting for the first time at Spring Fever 2013.
Their first encounter was at the 2012 Gold Rush Rumble, first in the over top battle royal, then in the finals, where after eliminating Kevin MISTER Tibbs and VsK, Katana and Fulton beat each other down until K-Fresh took the match.
In October, they faced off again for the New York State championship, but that match ended in a disqualification when Romeo Roselli got involved.
