Victory Pro Wrestling returns to Centereach on Saturday night January 19 for eighth annual The King of New York.
This year’s tournament will feature twelve VPW stars. In the first round, there will be four Triple Threat matches. The winners will advance into the Quarterfinals, where two singles matches will take place.
At the end of the night, the finals for the tournament will be held and the winner will become the 2019 King of New York.
The first competitor announced is the first ever King of New York EJ Risk. Fresh from his loss of the VPW Championship in November, could EJ rebound and be King once again?
Also announced to be in the tournament: Francis Kip Stevens. Debuting near the end of 2018, a win would catapult Kip into VPW Management talks with regards to the New York State or VPW Championship.
More competitors will be announced on our Facebook page, so check that out in the upcoming days to see who else will participate in the tournament.
With all the interest in the King of New York, who will rise to the occasion and become Victory Pro Wrestling’s next King?
