History was made as Nikki Addams’ called shot in April has lead her to becoming the first ever VPW Womens Champion.
It all started out with VPW Commissioner EJ Risk coming out with the Womens Championship to remind the fans that history would be made. Risk told the fans that when he first came to VPW that his first goal was to stop pushing the same tired garbage to them, show after show, and his first initiative was to create a Womens Division, and tonight we would crown our first champion.
Risk also mentioned that tonight, Ricky Reyes would face Kai Katana for a championship that, by all definition, he never technically was defeated for. He felt this was the right thing to do, in the interest of fairness.
And that’s when the Grammar Cop came to the ring to correct Risk on his use of “fairness,” when it should be “to be fair.” The VPW Commissioner, not one to be shown up, decided to put the VPW newcomer on point and throw him in a match against Cooley K.
SINGLES MATCH
GRAMMAR COP vs COOLEY K
The Grammar Cop was not ready for this match and it almost ended quickly, but he was able to regain his composure and compete. Just when Cooley K had him set, Cop connected with a flying neckbreaker and almost stole the win.
Cooley K was able to come back though and finish off the Grammar Cop with a Cooley High to seal the deal.
WINNER: COOLEY K
Before the next match started, The Down Boyz again insulted the Long Island fans and bragged about how awesome New Jersey was.
The fans decided to remind them of their Jersey digs by throwing garbage in the ring to make them feel at home.
After several attempts to clean the ring, and announcements from the ring announcer, the fans kept littering the ring until Steve finally demanded their opponents be announced so they could go back home to New Jersey.
VPW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
THE DOWN BOYZ (Tony and Steve w/ Chrissy) (c)
vs VAL VENIS and FIGHTER CAT
Once the mess was cleaned up, former Intercontinental champion Val Venis and Fighter Cat came to the ring to accept the challenge. Sights set on the prize, Fighter Cat showed a determination we haven’t seen before. Venis showed signs of greatness, but the VPW Tag Champs were able to dissect the team and break them down before a Down Boy Doomsday Dropkick off the rop ended the contest.
WINNERS AND STILL VPW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: THE DOWN BOYZ
After the match, Val Venis stopped the champs and praised them for a great match, saying that when he first came to VPW that he figured it would be a cakewalk, an easy match, and an easy victory. But the fire in their eyes, the determination, and the energy showed him that they, along with Fighter Cat, and some of the other talents he had a chance to meet with in the back, were truly the future of this industry.
VPW NEW YORK STATE CHAMPIONSHIP
VSK vs FIREBIRD JORGE SANTI (c)
Triple crown champion VsK has not been able to cleanly defeat Jorge Santi, despite several attempts. Tonight would be no different, as once again, Manhattan’s Son soared his way to another victory. One thing to note: Santi has significantly improved with each encounter against VsK, but VsK has seemingly become less invested in Santi almost as if beating Santi was a given.
WINNER AND STILL NEW YORK STATE CHAMPION: JORGE SANTI
It’s that attitude that led VsK after the match to attack Santi.
With that, EJ Risk charged the ring and VsK ran from the VPW Commissioner.
Risk said he was sick and tired of VsK’s crap, of him coming out night after night, match after match, and losing every time.
The VPW Commish then said that next month at Carnage in Centereach X, VSK would either defeat Santi and be the New York State Champion or he would be fired from Victory Pro Wrestling!
TAG TEAM MATCH
CONFLUXXX (Jay Delta and Kevin Fulton) vs THE CHURCH OF TIBBS (Dorian Graves and Kevin Tibbs)
It was just a matter of time before the Tibbs and Fulton rivalry would be revisited, this time as the ConfluxXx/Church of Tibbs rivalry continued. Fulton showed that a year of rehab on his knee didn’t take away his prowess in tag team wrestling as he and Delta showed that ConfluxXx in tag team wrestling was a force to be reckoned with. That’s not to say that Tibbs and Graves are slouches. They turned the fire up real high and almost picked up the win several times, but the underhandedness of ConfluxXx stole the win.

SINGLES MATCH
EL DESTRUCTICO vs XANDER PAGE
In his first official match since September of 2012, Xander Page came to the ring determined to do more than win.
El Destructico, clearly outmatched in height and weight, did try to overcome the monster Page, but nothing was working.
Razzle Dazzle came down to help even the odds, but even his help, which caused a disqualification, was futile as the big man showed that he was back to cause chaos.
A double chokeslam from Page ended the onslaught as he left his mark in the ring.

FATAL FOUR WAY ELIMINATION MATCH

vs ASHLEY AMERICA (w/ Damian Adams)
Four of the best competitors that has stepped in Victory Pro Wrestling since EJ Risk opened the Womens Division faced off in this encounter to determine who would be the first champion. With fans ragging on Deonna for being Romeo Roselli’s sister, her frustration boiled over and she accused Damian Adams for starting the brother sister rumor. He jumped on the apron, the two argued, and the argument ended with a kiss. Purrazzo would take this out on Ashley America, who she eventually eliminated from the contest. Karen Yu would come in but was dominated by both Addams and Purrazzo until Purrazzo went to take Addams in and she just jumped off the apron. Yu would steal the win to eliminate Purrazzo.
The final two would be Yu and Addams, and the two worked on each other with the fans behind Yu. Several roll ups were unable to score the win, frustrating Addams, despite having worn down Yu already. The fans caught a glimpse of Old School sliding brass knuckles to Addams just before he started to argue with the official, and she used the knuckles to knock out Yu before tucking them into her pants and scoring the win.

After the match, the fans showed their “appreciation” littering the ring with paper and garbage as Addams and Old School celebrated their victory.
MAIN EVENT
VICTORY PRO WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP
RICKY REYES vs KAI KATANA (c)
Katana became champion without beating the champion. Reyes lost the title without ever defending it. Tonight the questions would be answered as Katana finally had the opportunity to face Reyes for VPW’s top prize. In the match they were supposed to have at Blood Sweat and 9 Years, Reyes brought his A game. Katana was no slouch, as he was able to take everything Reyes was dishing out.
In and out the ring they battled, with Reyes setting his sights on regaining the championship he felt he never lost. Katana was focused on proving that he is the true VPW champion. After a classic battle, Katana connected with his moonsault to close the deal and retain his championship.
WINNER AND STILL VPW CHAMPION: KAI KATANA
After the match, Jay Delta and Kevin Fulton stormed the ring to attack the VPW Champion. ConfluxXx enjoyed a 3-on-1 until the Church of Tibbs came out to even the odds.
With ConfluxXx scurrying to the locker room, Tibbs said he was sick and tired. Katana took the microphone and said that lately, when he’s in a match, ConfluxXx gets involved. When the Church is in a match, ConfluxXx gets involved. At Carnage in Centereach X, both Tibbs and Katana agreed that they wanted to team up and face ConfluxXx inside the 15-foot high steel cage!
