Jerry Fitzwater Show
Fitzwater came out with Grop and discussed the importance of tonight’s Gold Rusj Rumble and how the winner would receive a title match of his choosing. Fitzwater went through history and how gold affected people like Mr. T, JR Ewing and Flava Flav. His guest was the new VPW Champion, Josef Von Schmidt. Von Schmidt brought up how Joe So Delicious was still nursing his wounds from their last encounter and wouldn’t be showing up. He then made an open challenge which was accepted by El Conquistador.

El Conquistador proved that he has what it takes to take the VPW Champion to the limit, but not enough to dethrone the German nationalist.
VPW New York State Championship
“Cuban Crippler” Ricky Reyes d. Amazing Red
The VPW New York State Champion had one of his toughest challenges to date, but this victory cements the fact that Ricky Reyes will be making it to at least the one year mark as champion. After the match, an injured K-Fresh came out to confront Reyes. K-Fresh explained to the crowd that he was severely injured while training for the rumble and that one of these days, he’d give Reyes what was coming to him.
2011 Gold Rush Rumble
Participants: E.J. Risk, Jorge Santi, El Conquistador, Xander Page, Destructico, Jerry Fitzwater, Jay Delta, VSK, Mikey Old School, K-Funk, Minyon, Ricky Reyes, Flames, Razzle Dazzle, Amazing Red, Jacob Hendrix, Grop, Zombie, Johnny “Muscles” Marinara
The match ended when E.J. Risk, VSK, Jay Delta and K-Funk were left as the final four. They would go onto a four corner elimination match later in the evening to determine the 2011 Gold Rush Rumble. Josef Von Schmidt returned to ringside to scope out his prospective opponents.

Razzle Dazzle and Jacob Hendrix came down to ringside during the match and pulled Zombie off the apron. Zombie chased them to the back, but left his team a man short. After the match, the victors went on a rampage.
2011 Gold Rush Rumble Final Four
VSK d. Jay Delta, E.J. Risk and K-Funk
Delta eliminated Funk. VSK eliminated Risk. To win the 2011 Gold Rush Rumble, VSK then pinned Jay Delta. After the match Eclipse immediately attacked VSK. K-Funk came out for the save. They were soon joined by K-Fresh. VSK said that he was all set to announce that he’d be choosing Ricky Reyes and the New York State Championship, but since he’s had enough of Eclipse, he wanted to end their reign as VPW Tag Team Champions. VSK chose K-Funk as his partner for the match on September 17th.
