Results are in from 6 Year Anniversary Show!
In front of a sell-out crowd in Centereach, Victory Pro Wrestling pulled out all the stops with events that nobody could have ever foreseen!
The VPW Championship was on the line as “The German Hammer” Josef Von Schmidt took on Amazing Red… Jay Delta challenged “K-Fresh” Kevin Fulton for the New York State Championship… and VPW Tag Team Champions Kevin Tibbs and VsK defended the titles agains “The Cuban Crippler” Ricky Reyes and “King of New York” EJ Risk.
Four Corner Elimination Match
Johnny Viscosi d. Irish Jack, Brian XL, and Destructico
Destructico was the first to be eliminated, as he was pinned by Brooklyn’s own Johnny Viscosi. South Boston’s Irish Jack was able to pin the Brian XL to eliminate the “Man of Faith”, but that’s when the first surprise of the night took place. A man wearing a black gi came to the ring, stalked the three men in the ring, and then attacked Brian XL. As the two fought to the back, Irish Jack tried to get the upper hand but was pinned by Viscosi, who picked up the win.
Razzle Dazzle (w/ Jacob Hendrix) d. Mikey (w/ El Sandwich)
This match marked the return of El Sandwich to VPW, but Razzle Dazzle still somehow picked up the win.
VPW Championship
“The German Hammer” Josef Von Schmidt (c) d. Amazing Red
In a close match, the challenger came close to taking the title from the German nationalist, but Josef Von Schmidt was too much for Amazing Red and was able to successfully defend the championship again.
The Jerry Fitzwater Show
Jerry Fitzwater’s guests were the VPW Tag Team Champions Kevin Tibbs and VsK, and the New York State Champion “K-Fresh” Kevin Fulton. The tag champs proclaimed they were not just the best tag team in VPW but the best two wrestlers in VPW and would successfully defend their titles. As “K-Fresh” was declaring the same would go with Jay Delta, Conflux came to the ring. Ricky Reyes and EJ Risk predicted that tonight, there would be new tag team champions, and Jay Delta told Fulton that his days of being New York State Champion were over.
“Second to None” Alex Anthony (w/ Shelly Martinez) d. Xander Page via disqualification
The dominant Xander Page could not hold down Alex Anthony, who kept coming back for more. In frustration, Page lost control, knocked Shelly Martinez off the apron, and choked out Anthony in the corner, and did not break the 5-count from the ref, thus disqualifying himself.
Mixed Tag Team
Mike Magnum and Angelina Love d. Ricky Richards and Siena Duvall (w. Mikey Old School)
With mixed tag rules, men faced the men and women faced the women, but that did not stop Angelina Love from getting a couple of kicks in on Ricky Richards when she got a chance. Siena Duvall was able to take control, but her team was clearly outmatched by Magnum and the former TNA Knockout champion, who picked up the win.
VPW New York State Championship
“K-Fresh” Kevin Fulton (c) d. Jay Delta
Xander Page accompanied his “Eclipse” tag team partner and fellow Conflux teammate, but eventually got himself thrown out of ringside. The match was amazing, with Delta and Fulton hitting each other with everything they had. Proving that he is more than just a tag team wrestler, “K-Fresh” showed that he truly deserves the New York State championship by defeating the challenger. After the match, he challenged Xander Page at the March 31 show in Deer Park and is going to put the New York State title on the line!
VPW Tag Team Championship
“The Cuban Crippler” Ricky Reyes and “King of New York” EJ Risk d. Kevin Tibbs and VSK (c)
During the Fitzwater Show, Kevin Tibbs said that this would be the end of their war with Conflux, and he was right. In a match that tore the house down, the two best tag teams in Victory Pro Wrestling had the full house VFW Hall in Centereach on the edges of their seats. The champions looked to retain the titles but somehow Ricky Reyes ducked a VsK super kick – that knocked Kevin Tibbs out cold! Moments later, new Victory Pro Wrestling tag team champions were crowned, and Conflux came out to celebrate at ringside.
Inside the ring, however, Kevin picked up his partner, congratulating him on a great match – or so everyone thought until Tibbs kicked him in the face and attacked him in the ring! After he turned on VsK, he stormed towards the back. “K-Fresh” came out to find out what happened, but Tibbs brushed him off and continued to the back.
