Six Man Elimination Match
Flames d. Reggaedones, Razzle Dazzle, Draven, ‘The Answer’ Pete Simmons, & ‘Firebird’ Jorge Santi
When the match began, all of the competitors ganged up on the larger Draven and eliminated him. Next, Jorge Santi pinned Razzle Dazzle. Reggaedones then pinned Santi. Simmons and Reggaedones tried to outnumber Flames, but the flamboyant one overcame the odds by first pinning Simmons and then winning the match.
Jason Static w/ Sweet Pea d. Johnny Armani w/ Mikey Old School
Armani made a very impressive debut against the former VPW Champion, but Static showed why he is one of the best out there.
Romeo Roselli – VSK Confrontation
Roselli came down to the ring and berated the fans. He then turned his attention towards VSK and the New York State Championship. VSK came out to confront Roselli, but Roselli backed off and retreated.
‘The Miracle’ Javi-Air w/ Divina Fly d. Minyon w/ Black Rose
At first it appeared that Javi-Air’s new valet was just that, but Minyon learned quickly that Divina Fly can hold her own in the ring. Towards the end of the match, Reggaedones came down to ringside and harassed Fly. Javi-Air didn’t seem pleased by his brashness.
VPW Championship
Mack Daddy Flexx d. E.J. Risk
Flexx came out and discussed Ricky Reyes ducking him. Flexx said that the only time Reyes wants to deal with him is by attacking him from behind or calling him out when he’s not there. So while Reyes was not there, Flexx still wanted a match. E.J. Risk took Flexx up on his offer and once again stepped up to the champion. Unfortunately for E.J. Risk, he took the champion to the limit, but came up short.
Dani DT w/ Richie Tyler d. Taylor Nicole
Dani overcame her larger opponent, but this may not be the last time we see Taylor Nicole in VPW.
Funky Fresh Boyz In-Ring Segment
The VPW Tag Team Champions and their manager, Ms. Terri, came out and discussed their match for later in the night. They also brought out their friend Major Intencity, who was going to be the special guest referee for their match. When Intencity started walking down to the ring, Jay Delta got in his face. The Funky Fresh Boyz left the ring to see what was going on. This left Ms. Terri alone in the ring where Xander Page came from the crowd and big booted Ms. Terri in the head. A brawl broke out between Eclipse and the Funky Fresh Boyz that needed to be broken up.
The Main Men (Mike Magnum & Johnny ‘Muscles’ Marinara) w/ Rod d. Zombie & Nick Saint w/ Mikey Old School
El Sandwich was unable to make it the event so he was replaced by Old School Unlimited member Nick Saint. The Main Men were able to distract the Zombie long enough to leave Saint alone in the ring.
No Disqualification ‘Ultra Sexy’ Joe So Delicious d. Josef Von Schmidt
Delicious brought Captain America’s shield with him to vanquish the German Nationalist. The combined might of Joe So Delicious and the spirit of Captain America thwarted the evildoer.
VPW Tag Team Championship – The Team vs. The Titles Eclipse (Jay Delta & Xander Page) d. Funky Fresh Boyz (K-Funk & K-Fresh)
Ms. Terri was taken to the hospital eafrlier on, leaving the Funky Fresh Boyz without their manager. This was one of the closest matches in VPW history, but Eclipse became the three-time VPW Tag Team Champions. Major Intencity was forced to do his job and make a reluctant three count on his friends, ending the Funky Fresh Boyz’s ten month title reign.
Ring Announcers Rob and MacKenzie confrontation
After bickering with each other the last few months, VPW ring ananouncers MacKenzie and Rob finally came to a physical confrontation. Throughout the night, their tension was obvious, but it all came to a head right as the main event was being announced. Rob completely lost it and began insulting Mackenzie’s abilities. She returned the favor by kicking him below the belt, causing him to be carried to the back.
VPW New York State Championship
VSK d. Romeo Roselli w/ Chris Charisma
Before the match, Roselli introduced his friend Chis Charisma. Charisma flew in from California to check out the ladies of New York. The referee got knocked out during the match and a second referee was required to make the assist while the original referee recovered. Despite all of the chaos, VSK retained the New York State Championship.
