“Cuban Crippler” Ricky Reyes d. Kelly O’Shelley w/ Mike Old School
Ricky Reyes came down to the ring at the start of the show. Unlike two weeks earlier, this time he was scheduled. Reyes spoke about how two weeks earlier he should have defeated Mack Daddy Flexx for the VPW Championship. He then brought up the triple threat match for the title set for later in the night. Reyes was confident that he would be victorious, but he wanted a warm up match to find his next victim. Looking for a shot to establish himself, Kelly O’Shelley of Old School Unlimited volunteered. O’Shelley looked to have a fighting chance at first, but Reyes quickly finished him off.
Sumie Sakai d. Dani DT
In a contest between two fan favorites, the veteran, Sakai, defeated VPW’s own Dani DT.
The Main Men (Mike Magnum & Johnny “Muscles” Marinara) d. Funky Fresh Boyz (K-Funk & K-Fresh)
The Funky Fresh Boyz put up a good fight, but The Main Men proved to be the better team on this night. Muscles pinned K-Fresh.
Minyon d. Nightmare w/ Black Rose
In an interesting turn of events, Nightmare has forsaken his fans and joined the darkness that is Black Rose. Despite this new alliance, Minyon outwrestled and outsmarted the tandem. Minyon was still wearing make-up across only half of his face after his very public break-up with Sweet Pea.
Romeo Roselli d. Richie Tyler
The more crafty Roselli defeated the ever-popular Richie Tyler.
The Jerry Fitzwater Show
Fitzwater came out singing, accompanied by his caveman sidekick, Grop. Grop then demonstrated his unique talents which included breaking a solid wooden board over his head and eating live worms. Fitzwater tried to give Grop a cookie, but he legitimately preferred the worms. The VPW Tag Team Champions Eclipse had enough and came down a few minutes before their schedule time as guests. Delta andXander Page had some fun at the expense of Grop before telling the fans that they felt like taking the night off. This brought out Crossfire and Mikey Old School. They made sure Eclipse remembered that they had their VPW Tag Team Title match later in the night.
VPW Championship
Mack Daddy Flexx (c) d. “Ultra Sexy” Joe So Delicious & “Cuban Crippler” Ricky Reyes
While Flexx and Joe are best friends, the championship and seeing who is the best comes first. They began double-teaming Reyes, but eventually went after each other. It looked like Joe was going to pin Reyes and win the gold, but Flexx was able to seize that opportunity and pin Joe. It looks like not much has been resolved with these three.
Zombie d. Razzle Dazzle
Dazzle tried to entertain the Zombie, but all Zombie wanted was brains.
VPW Tag Team Championship Match
“The Resurrection of Tag Team Wrestling” Eclipse (Jay Delta & Xander Page” (c) d. Crossfire (Flames & Nick Saint) w/ Mikey Old School
Mikey Old School’s team came awfully close to upsetting the three-time VPW Tag Team Champions, but dirty tactics prevailed. Eclipse misdirected the referee while Flames got hit with one of the belts and went down for the count.
VPW New York State Championship
VSK (c) vs. E.J. Risk – No Contest
This match saw both men amplify their efforts from two weeks earlier and give each other their all. In the end, both men were fighting on the outside and were counted out. It looked like VSK may have made it back in the ring in time, but Referee Heath said that wasn’t the case. After the match, both men had a verbal war. Risk feels that VSK can’t defeat him and the next time they meet, things will be different.
