The Artist Jake Lang stood on the ring, celebrating prematurely a victory against two tough competitors, but with Da Big Boofa standing before him, his night was not over yet.
Cole would capture the crown and leave Lang languishing in his loss, but it would not be the last time they meet.
Two months later at Blood Sweat and 18 years, moments from what people feel would have been the beginning of a third reign as New York State Champion, the Artist Jake Lang sketched a new ending for Dezmond Cole, shifting victory back to Dante Drago and away from Da Big Boofa.
At VPW Summer Showdown Saturday June 8, Dezmond Cole will get an opportunity to exact revenge from Jake Lang. They both believe the other stole an opportunity from the other.
