ConfluxXx leader Ricky Reyes will be the challenger, and Reyes seemingly has the secret to beating VsK for championships.
It started on October 9th, 2010. After winning the 2010 Gold Rush Rumble, “The Cuban Crippler” challenged then-New York State Champion VsK. VsK’s 385 day title reign came to an end with Ricky Reyes becoming the new New York State Champion that night.
On March 10, 2012, lightning struck again for Reyes, as he and partner EJ Risk became Victory Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions. Confusion was the deciding factor between then champions as a super kick to his partner Kevin Tibbs caused the distraction needed for Ricky Reyes to score the pinfall on VsK.
