International superstar Ricky Reyes is a former Ring of Honor tag team champion and in 2005 won the ROH Trios Tournament.
Since joining Victory Pro Wrestling, the Cuban Crippler established ConfluxXx and had led them to every championship and accolade in Victory Pro Wrestling except one – the VPW Championship.
In 2010, Reyes himself won Gold Rush Rumble and the New York State championship. In 2012, he won the VPW Tag Team Championship with EJ Risk.
One of wrestling’s elite, Reyes has come short of the VPW Championship on several occasions, and winning the King of New York tournament would give him one more chance at Victory Pro Wrestling’s top prize.
It would also give him one more opportunity to face VsK for the most coveted championship in Victory Pro Wrestling, and one more chance to finally take what he believes is rightfully his.
