In just her second match with Victory Pro Wrestling, The Unwilting Tatiana defeated “Forever Champion” Valentina Vasquez at VPW’s Hallowed Ground, ending Vasquez’s 666-day title reign. Originally, Tatiana was set to face both Vasquez and The Unforgiven Salem, but a backstage attack kept Salem from competing.
During the match, Salem made a surprise appearance, attacking Vasquez while the referee was distracted and setting up Tatiana for the win. Tatiana then secured the victory, launching an impressive run as VPW Women’s Champion.
During her reign, Tatiana faced Salem at VPW Before the Storm, successfully defending her title. Three months later, the two met again in a top contender’s match, with the winner set to challenge then-champion Kaia McKenna. The fierce battle ended in a double count-out, and Kaia later lost the title that night to Gift of Gab Gabby Ortiz.
Frustration and a broken hand from a match in Pennsylvania intensified Tatiana’s determination. While sidelined, she watched Salem rise through the ranks, eventually claiming the VPW Women’s Championship from Ortiz and defending it at Riverfront Rumble 3 in Connecticut.
Then, at VPW Haunted Ground, one year after her initial championship victory, Tatiana returned to VPW and attacked Salem, seemingly prepared to settle the score. However, Kyla Knight’s intervention kept her from finishing the attack.
Now, VPW Management has made it official: The Unforgiven Salem will defend her VPW Women’s Championship against The Unwilting Tatiana at VPW Blue November. Will Salem finally secure her first victory over Tatiana, or will Tatiana reclaim the title and her dominance in VPW’s women’s division?
