Fighter Cat and Grammar Cop have taken the VPW Tag Team division by storm since overcoming their personal differences and defeating the Fast and Furriest to become champions in April 2019.
They have been triumphant over teams like Total Kontrol, the Plague, and most recently The Influence, even after an injury that took Grammar Cop out of commission for a better part of the summer.
As the champions have been dominant, a new force has risen. From the shadows of darkness, Absolute Alvin Alvarez has been plotting a take over of Victory Pro Wrestling’s tag team division. Finding the right partner was key, but who could it be? After scouting several talents in the end of 2018 and early 2019, Alvarez finally found his partner: The Giant Andre.
At first, the team had a rough patch. But with his blood feud with Stockade now in the past, Alvarez was able to finally focus on domination with Andre and have since been on a tear.
CAP World Tag Team Champions SPITE paid a visit to VPW’s Disorderly Conduct looking for a chance to make a name for themselves and put their name in the hat to challenge the Cat and Cop Connection, but the Absolute Brand had another story.
Using Johnny Clash and Liam Davis as a warning shot, The Absolute Brand served notice to Fighter Cat and Grammar Cop – to be ready, because they made a promise to dominate VPW and at the King of New York, Alvarez and Andre are going to do just that.
The question now: Does the Cat and Cop Connection have a chance, or have they used up their ninth life?
