When you think about tag team wrestling in Victory Pro Wrestling, one of the first names you think of is the Even Stevens. Stephen Azure and Steve Somerset came to VPW in 2019 and made a statement in the division becoming two time VPW Tag Team Champions.
In recent months, The Body Snatchers have been making a wave in the division. Marvelous and God of Dad Bod have been laying out teams and taking over companies in the Northeast and look to do the same on Long Island with Victory Pro Wrestling.
But the heart seems to come from the Working Class. With the Sweeper and Diego el Trabajador, these two don’t look like much of a formidable team on paper. However, the excitement and action they bring to the table gets the fans cheering and supporting them.
This weekend in Bay Shore, these three teams meet in a battle for supremacy, with legacy, dominance, and heart colliding at Summer Showdown. Can the experience of the Even Stevens take them to victory? Will the heart of The Working Class help them overcome the odds? Or will the Body Snatchers continue to add their opponents on the list of destruction?
