After successfully defending the championship against Dezmond Cole at Blood Sweat and 18 Years, New York State Champion Dante Drago’s next challenge was up in the air.
Several names were discussed. Former champions. Upcoming stars. Unsigned talent.
Then, at VPW High Alert, Dante Drago posed a challenge to the GOATest of All Time Bobby Orlando: Win at High Alert, and get an opportunity to challenge for the New York State Championship.
That night it was announced that Dante Drago’s opponent of Bobby’s choosing would be none other than Evil Kip Stevens.
In a hard fought battle, Bobby Orlando was able to pick up the win, and now faces Dante Drago in June.
The rivalry between Delta House and Shook Crew is documented, and now at Summer Showdown, another chapter will be written.
