The Victory Pro Wrestling tag team division has been evolving, with new teams coming on the scene. One of those teams is Security Inc. Officer Ronnie Moses and Guard Dog Malcom Murray have made their name in VPW, and the fans love them for their clean work ethic and positivity.
At VPW Disorderly Conduct last November, they were on their way to victory to secure the top contender’s position for the Victory Pro Wrestling tag team championships. After the win, two guys jumped the guardrails and attacked them.
Those guys were the Rat Bastards, a tag team introduced to VPW thanks to Mike Anthony at VPW Rage in Ronkonkoma in September. Another new team on the scene, Adam Kirkland and Zander Torrez also got themselves involved with Security Inc again as Murray and Moses were able to exact some justice and pick up the win at VPW Notorious.
But at VPW 160: Blood Sweat and 17 Years, Security Inc had an opportunity to claim the vacated VPW Tag Team Championships. On their way to claiming the new titles, the Rat Bastards once again got involved, this time ruining their chances.
Last month, Victory Pro Wrestling returned to St James for VPW Higher Limits. The Even Stevens were defending the championships against the Rat Bastards. During the match, the music for Security Inc played, distracting the challengers. This gave Stephen Azure the opportunity to take advantage with a Steven Flow finish with Steve Somerset to pick up the win.
Earlier this week, VPW correspondent Evan Mercado coordinated an online video conference call to interview both Security Inc and the Rat Bastards as we head back to Bay Shore for this week’s VPW Justified.
It doesn’t look like things were settled during this interview. In fact, things went a little out of control. Can Security Inc reclaim the focus they need this weekend or did the Rat Bastards plant enough chaos into the mix to even the playing field?
