The championship rivalry between VPW Champion Mister Tibbs and New York State Champion Steve Gibki has come to a head since the New York State Championship was unified last year.

At the King of New York, then at Before the Storm, tension has been building with a stunning assault by the VPW Champion of Coach Mammone, who had just saved Gibki from a double team assault lead by VPW King Jay Delta and EJ Risk.

As if the tension of who the best wrestler in Victory Pro Wrestling isn’t enough, Johnny Clash has thrown his hat in the ring and made a claim that he is the best champion, period. Clash is the current, reigning CAP Champion, and he has been watching with interest.

The mere thought of another champion, from another company no less, claiming they were better infuriated the VPW Champion so much that Tibbs demanded a match against Clash at Blood Sweat and 13 Years.

Tibbs told VictoryProWrestling.com, “I’ve been with Victory Pro Wrestling longer than these two have even been wrestling. I’m a VPW original. Gibki’s not even from New York and he’s the New York State champion? Clash is not even from VPW but he’s claiming to be the best champion? Shut the hell up.

“At Blood, Sweat and 13 Years,” Tibbs continued, “Clash can bring his best – at the end of the night, I’ll shut him up and show him why I’m the man in VPW.”

This blockbuster match featuring VPW Champion Mister Tibbs against CAP Champion Johnny Clash is definitely going to turn some heads when they collide at VPW’s anniversary show.
