“The Tweener” Max Caster declared that he would be successful in his debut match, despite the fact his opponent was VPW Triple Crown champion Kevin Tibbs.
While Caster did prove to be a formidable opponent, it was Tibbs who scored the win at VPW’s Blood, Sweat and 12 Years anniversary show in March.
This did not sit well with Caster. After the match, he beat down Tibbs, then planted a kiss on his cheek.
VPW Management reviewed the match and signed Caster and Tibbs to a rematch at Spring Fever, giving Caster a chance at redemption for his loss, and Tibbs a chance at revenge for the post-match attack.
