The party is truly over for Da Hou$e Party as their record making reign is over.
Because of a rule in the VPW Tag Team bylaws, Cooley K and K-MC were stripped of the championships. That rule is that the VPW Tag Team Championships must be defended every 60 days or the titles will be vacated.
There are some instances where that rule can be overlooked, but if a viable contender is available to challenge for the championships, the reigning champions must defend the titles.
This ends a 678 title reign, the longest reign in VPW Tag Team Championship history, that started in October of 2012.
What’s next for the VPW Tag Team Championships? If The Down Boyz have it their way, then they will be presented as the new VPW Tag Team Champions when Victory Pro Wrestling returns to Centereach for Salvation on September 6.
VPW Management has a lot to think about right now, but have made it clear that come September 6, they will have a final ruling on what the next chapter in the VPW Tag Team Championship landscape will look like.
