At Disorderly Conduct: Fans Choice in December, the VPW faithful selected Brother Greatness to challenge Jack Tomlinson for the New York State Championship, with the added twist of a blindfold match. In that contest, all participants—including referee Jason Fineburg—wore blindfolds. Taking advantage of the chaos, Tomlinson manipulated the rules and secured a tainted victory.
When the two clashed again at Wrestling for the Win in a six-man tag team grudge match, Brother Greatness was able to expose the deceit and rally his team to victory, pinning Tomlinson in the process.
Following the match, Brother Greatness approached VPW Management to address the controversy in December and to highlight his triumph in January. He formally requested another opportunity to challenge for the New York State Championship.
That opportunity will come at Kings of New York, where Brother Greatness is set to face Jack Tomlinson once again. Can Brother Greatness dethrone Jack Tomlinson and claim the title, or will Tomlinson once again find a way to hold onto the gold?
