In May, VsK answered the open challenge to VPW Champion Josef Von Schmidt, only to have Kevin Tibbs also answer the same challenge, making it a three-way dance for the company’s top prize, only to watch it slip away to Tibbs. Since then, VsK has chased his former best friend all over Long Island, only to somehow come up short every time.
He says his focus is on the King of New York tournament, but he hints that he still wants a piece of Tibbs, or K-Fresh Kevin Fulton, and the VPW Championship.
