The last time she was in VPW, she was introduced as Jacob Hendrix’s “new White Girl.” But Masha Slamovich doesn’t want to talk about that.
She trained under WWE Hall of Famer Johnny Rodz, she’s wrestled in Japan, and at Carnage in Centereach 12, Slamovich became the fifth woman to hold the Victory Pro Wrestling Women’s Championship.
With the title on the line, the Alien Kris Stadtlander had Slamovich locked in her Rings of Saturn submission hold, with the challenger ready to submit. That’s when Karen Bam Bam came down to trash talk the Alien. It seemed that Bam Bam was already looking to October, much like the VPW fans in attendance, thinking this match was clearly over.
Stadtlander did not appreciate this. Neither did Eris Rayne, who exploded from the locker room and shared her two words, a couple of fists, and some kicks with Bam Bam. As Rayne and Bam Bam fought, Stadtlander looked on in disgust. That’s when Slamovich struck.
Taking advantage of a distracted Stadtlander, Slamovich rolled her up and stole the match. Referee Steven Dumeng gave her the championship and she slid outside like a bandit in the night, raising her arms while trying to escape the ire of Stadtlander.
Four years earlier, Victory Pro Wrestling introduced a women’s division with Kris Stadtlander, MJ Jenkins, Karen Q, and Nikki Addams.
The Women’s Division has since erupted into must-watch wrestling. Slamovich reigns on top. Sam L’Eterna is the Queen of New York. Then there is Antoinette Marie, Karen Bam Bam, Eris Rayne, and Ariella Nyx rounding out the growing division.
