It was a fluke. Dante Drago joining the Wolves of Odin wasn’t supposed to happen, but it did when opportunity struck.
Percy Ryan was in the group, destined for greatness, but an injury took him out of the playbook. Kaide Lothbrok gave up on him, and before he could rage out, he found Dante Drago sitting in the corner of the locker room.
Later that night, Drago, not Ryan, would accompany Lothbrok to the ring and officially take his place in the Wolves of Odin. This would not be a long term placement, though.
In the early part of 2022, Drago and Lothbrok would establish their relationship, building a mutual trust. But at Blood Sweat and 16 Years, the Wolves would face Kaide’s former family, the Hounds of Hell. They would lose, and Kaide would start a downward spiral that would eventually get both himself and Drago suspended from VPW.
Drago’s suspension ended early, and he would return to VPW with a new spark. Along with Jey Mesias and Nick Robles, Dante Drago would ring in a new chapter: Delta House. With Mesias and Robles earning their place, Delta House would cause problems in VPW.
So when Kaide Lothbrok and Dante Drago bumped into each other at VPW 2022 Gold Rush Rumble, they had a conversation. Dante was cool that Kaide was back, but he didn’t really approve of Foxy Foxxy. Not that it mattered because he had his own thing going on with Delta House.
At Disorderly Conduct in November, it would be Robles that cost Lothbrok a victory over Adam Cain. Later that night, Lothbrok would avenge the loss while at the same time making the save for Mister Tibbs.
To kick off 2023 at VPW Notorious, Lothbrok and Tibbs would team up against Delta House’s Robles and Mesias to pick up the win and set up a match between the Asgardian Beast and the Frat Star at VPW Blood Sweat and 17 Years in Bay Shore.
